Great question, Jimmy!
The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1674 will replace the front tow hooks on your 2008 Chevy Silverado, yes.
The installation is a little more involved than just sliding the plate kit into the frame, but if you're comfortable working on vehicles it's still a pretty straightforward installation especially when compared to other vehicles where the front bumper needs to be completely removed.
Attached are the installation instructions and a video for your reference! view full answer...
No, they will not because the modular bumper is not rated to be flat towed with. Instead you will want the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BLU23XR. This base plate has been confirmed to fit the 2023 Ford Broncos with the Ford Performance Heavy Duty Modular Bumper.
I have linked the installation instructions below so you can see how this base plate gets set up. view full answer...
Hey there Terry; thanks for the question and the answer is neither the Roadmaster Tow Defender # RM-4750 or Roadmaster Guardian Rock Guard # RM-4000 will rub against the motorhome when making turns.
Keep in mind the right one will depend on the Roadmaster base plates you have. the Tow Defender is for direct-connect base plates while the Guardian is for crossbar-style base plates. view full answer...
I agree and it is available. The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM35GR is the same as the 521463-5. This is compatible with the bumper and winch on your 2024 Wrangler. They even made sure to show a picture of the bumper with the winch in the attached instructions. view full answer...

Hi David,
Yes, we do have an installation video for the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523182-5 on a 2019 Chevy Colorado, which I've attached below. view full answer...
The instructions for the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM77YV are being added to page but I'll also send them to you separately. In the instructions they only show that the air dam needs a chunk cut out and that the shutters would remain. The Demco baseplate has a bit more of a slant outwards compared the the Roadmaster # RM97RR so you shouldn't need to trim out as much of the air shutters/dam during the installation. view full answer...
You are correct that the Jeep bracket should have been reinstalled when installing the Blue Ox Base Plate # BX1139. I have linked another video near the bottom of the page where you can see the brackets being reinstalled on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler around the 12:50 mark of the video. This can also be seen on page 9 of the installation instructions which are also linked near the bottom of the page. view full answer...
AAMCO most likely disconnected it when they did work on your vehicle since most vehicles require disconnected the battery before doing so so my guess would be that they forgot to reconnect it at the battery upon completion of the work so you should check there. Also make sure the wiring connections at the battery are made tightly. view full answer...
